John Mahoney- President
After graduating Queens College in New York John spent several years working in the airline industry. Subsequently entering the mortgage business in February 1981 his 27 years of experience in the commercial mortgage industry has included managing sales, underwriting and secondary marketing. Starting out owning his own brokerage for 13 years he then took a job as east coast sales manager at a national mortgage bank. His region and sales team continually produced the highest loan volume within the company. Afterward he took another job as head underwriter at different mortgage bank underwriting commercial loans to be sold into the CMBS market as well as other national banking institutions. Soon afterward he was promoted to Sr. Vice President in charge of running the commercial mortgage division. In that role he negotiated warehouse lines of credit, purchase and sales of loans into the secondary market and helped structure investor agreements for the company.
John Laliotis- Executive Vice President
John is a graduate of St. John’s University. Prior to joining the company he owned his own mortgage brokerage company. He started in the business in 1995 working for such firms as Select Mortgage and Strategic Financial Network. John’s entire career has been in the sales side of the business and has always been the top producer at all companies he has worked for. His expertise and technique will be a valued asset to the company and its sales staff under him. Besides the mortgage business John has been tapped to assist with a Chapter 7 trustee to acquire the assets from the defunct Legend Airlines and worked with investors with respect to a proposed acquisition. Similarly, he worked with National Airlines during the Chapter 11 process and management regarding bidding for the assets in a 363 sale. He has also assisted with negotiations and financing for Millennium Motorsports, which intends to acquire NASCAR race teams. John is a member of the Long Island Sales and Marketing Executives, LIREG, Commercial Finance Association, Mortgage Brokers Association and the St. John’s Alumni Association. His charitable work includes raising funds for the MS Society of New York and the American Cancer Society.
